Its been on my mind all summer. Watermelons! There is nothing more refreshing than a watermelon salad as an appetizer or as the main course on a hot summer day. It goes to say that my family enjoyed this and wanted seconds. Very simple to do, the ingredients:
- watermelon cubed (duh)
- shallot (sliced thin)
- feta cheese (crumbled)
- handful of your favorite sprouts
- balsamic vinegar and olive oil
- himalayan salt (you can use any nice salt)
Cube the melon and place in the fridge to chill for at least 30 minutes. To assemble, place the cubes onto plate, toss in some shallots, feta, sprouts, and drizzle with oil and vinegar. I grated some salt on top to finish it! A must try!
